How we research

An honest explanation of what we do — and what we don't.

What we do

• Compare specs side-by-side — features, pricing tiers, limits, integrations, from official docs and pricing pages.
• Read real user reviews — hundreds of them, across G2, Capterra, Reddit, and app stores, looking for patterns (not cherry-picked quotes).
• Check the fine print — HIPAA claims, data retention, cancellation policies, hidden fees.
• Update regularly — tools change fast; we revisit comparisons when pricing or features shift.

What we don't do

• We don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done. When we haven't personally used a tool, we say so — our verdicts come from specs, docs, and user evidence.
• We don't take paid placements. Rankings are never for sale.
• We don't hide affiliate relationships. If we earn a commission, it's disclosed — and it never decides the winner.

Because we'd rather show our work than ask for blind faith. Every comparison links to its sources — pricing pages, review aggregates, official docs — so you can verify everything yourself.
